Animals have always been a large part of Melody’s life. From a young age, she grew up surrounded by dogs and cats. At 5 years old, she experienced her first true love, a 15-year-old quarter horse mare she named Honey Bee. Shortly after bringing Honey Bee home, she gave birth to a healthy filly, whom Melody named Liberty, as she was born on the 1st of July, 1992. Liberty, fondly nicknamed Lulu, still resides on Melody’s family farm and is a cherished member of the family. In January 2026, Melody adopted a new family member, an Aussie/Goldendoodle named Violet. She has brought new life to the farm, adding chaos and love. Violet quickly befriended Lulu and the two spend afternoons in the field, enjoying the sunshine.
